The Pelham Low Port Capsule Sweet Iron Curb combines a low port for tongue relief with dual rein versatility. The Capsule centerpiece provides smooth, independent rein action, and the sweet iron encourages salivation, offering a balance of comfort and control for horses requiring tongue relief and precise leverage cues.

- Pelham cheekpiece merges the benefits of a snaffle and a curb, offering versatile rein options and adaptable control for varied riding needs.
- The Capsule Link eliminates the nutcracker effect while allowing independent side action, providing riders with precise, comfortable control and enhanced communication.
- Sweet Iron oxidizes naturally to produce a sweet, delicious taste that horses love, encouraging salivation and bit acceptance for a more responsive ride.
- Ergonomically designed and anatomically tailored to conform perfectly to the horse's mouth for a natural fit, reducing pressure points, ensuring maximum comfort and distributing pressure evenly.
- Low Port shape provides optimal tongue relief, reducing pressure for enhanced comfort during prolonged use.

Note: Sweet iron is designed to naturally oxidize, which creates the desirable sweet taste that horses love. This process results in surface rust, which is normal and does not affect the bit’s functionality.
This is a nice bit, however the curb chain hook design needs work. The way it is designed, the hook constantly pokes the horse when engaged and causes the curb chain to twist rather than lay flat. Additionally, the hook is fixed on the left side. While it's not uncommon for a curb chain hook to be fixed (although I would prefer it to not be fixed at all so it can be adjusted on both sides), it should at least be adjustable on the left, which is the "on" side of the horse and typically where adjustments are made if only making adjustments on one side. I would recommend studying the design that Stubben uses for their Pelhams and Weymouths. Unfortunately I'm not sure what to do with this bit going forward as it cannot be returned, but I don't feel that it is fair to my horse to use a bit that pokes her and puts unfair pressure points on her jaw.
